Rafael Cañizares, owner of *Bodegas Volver*, has developed a new project in Alicante, showcasing both his deep respect for native grape varieties, and his fondness for international grapes like Sauvignon Blanc.
His Triga project focuses on premium, terroir-driven wines from ancient Monastrell vines, planted in limestone-rich, high-altitude soils, producing complex, structured wines with great aging potential. Alongside this, Cañizares crafts fresh, bright, and aromatic Sauvignon Blancs, grown on limestone vineyards in a Mediterranean climate.
